Duncan played our family reunion in front of 95 Irish family members. I do not think he knew the audience would be so large and included two professional musicians. Everyone was extremely complimentary of Duncan and his performance. He was able to personalize his set to include two songs that were very meaningful to our family. His playing added a great deal to a wonderful reunion. If you are looking to add that special touch that only a bagpipe can provide, I recommend Duncan Moore.
My husband and I are so happy we chose Duncan to pipe at our wedding ceremony! Duncan played the recessional music, which was a surprise for our guests. After the minister pronounced us husband and wife, Duncan led us down the aisle while he played ``The Wearing of the Green``. He dressed in full Scottish regalia and entertained the guests outside the church following the ceremony. Having a bagpiper at the wedding was such a unique way to celebrate, and Duncan was so great to work with!
Everything, from the initial contact through the end of the performance went perfectly. He was positioned exactly as we had discussed, his timing was flawless and the effect of the bagpipes added powerfully to the graveside service.
I received a call from the funeral director several hours after the service wanting to know how he could contact a piper. Someone who was at the funeral is planning a service for a loved one on Monday and they were so impressed that they are hoping to contract a bagpiper.
